ABOUT DWAYNE
Dwayne Sperber is a leading advocate for urban wood utilization and president of Wudeward Urban Forest Products. His work focuses on recovering and repurposing wood from urban and community forests—transforming removed trees into valuable, sustainable resources. A founding member of the Urban Wood Network and former member of the Wisconsin Urban Forestry Council, he collaborates with arborists, municipalities, architects, and manufacturers to advance practical pathways for the highest use of urban wood. Through industry leadership, education, and outreach, Dwayne champions extending the life and value of trees while strengthening the environmental, economic, and community benefits of urban forests.
